Where might your store fall short of the EU Accessibility Act?
Paste one page of your store and answer a few sharp questions. This runs real accessibility checks right here in your browser — no account, no upload — then shows you an honest list of your likely WCAG 2.1 AA gaps and a conformity-readiness score. It's the same engine of checks behind the full pack, given to you free.
Honest up front: an automated check like this can only catch a subset of accessibility barriers. Some of the most important checks are things only a human can judge (does the alt text actually describe the image? can you complete checkout with a keyboard?). This tool is deliberately built around both: machine checks on your markup and the human questions that matter. It is a guided self-assessment, not legal advice and not a certification of compliance.
First — what are we looking at?
This tailors every fix to your platform and helps us judge scope. Nothing here is stored or sent anywhere.
Now scan a real page
Pick the page that matters most to a sale — usually a product page or your checkout/cart. We'll run a set of real, machine-detectable checks on its markup. Your HTML is parsed locally in this tab and never sent anywhere.
How to get your page's HTML
- Open the page on your live store in your browser.
- Press Ctrl+U (Windows) or ⌥+⌘+U (Mac) to view the page source.
- Select all (Ctrl/⌘+A), copy (Ctrl/⌘+C), and paste it into the box below.
Tip: "View source" gives the server HTML. Some stores build content with JavaScript after load — if your page is very JS-heavy, the full pack's bookmarklet reads the live, rendered page for a more complete picture. For most stores, view-source is plenty to surface the common, costly failures.
5 checks only a human can make
These are the high-impact things no scanner can judge — and they're where "passing" stores quietly fail. Answer honestly; this is your assessment, not a test to pass. Take 30 seconds on each, on the same page you scanned.
Your honest conformity snapshot
Your top gaps to fix first
Ordered by impact. Each maps to the WCAG 2.1 AA success criterion an EAA assessment is measured against.
What this score does — and does not — mean
- It's a real snapshot, not a guess. The machine checks genuinely parsed your markup; the human checks reflect what you told us. Nothing here is fabricated or generic.
- It is not a pass mark or a certification. Even a 100% here would not prove conformity. Automated tools catch only a subset of accessibility issues, a single page isn't your whole site, and only a qualified professional can confirm legal conformity.
- A low score isn't a fine. We make no claims about specific enforcement outcomes. The point is simply: here's where you stand, and here's the credible path to a defensible position.
You can see the gaps. The pack helps you close and document them.
